I made this phonebook play area for Blackie. He loves to tear up telephone books and this keeps the mess to a minimum. It is made of a plastic tote box, two plastic coffee cans and scrap material I had on hand. I attached a grass mat to the top for him to sit on. As you can see there is a window for him to peek out. Thank for our package of fun received today. We can't wait to try some of everything. This is our Hoby (a Mini Rex)and Pepper (Flemish Giant). Hoby was a stray hiding in my brothers garage two years ago at Christmas and Pepper is a new addition from the SPCA. After a month of keeping the house divided with a fence between them one 15 minute ride in the car, in the same carrier and Voila. . . we have bunny love! Paula, Hoby and Pepper.
Thank you for remembering our two Spots - they will be very exited to hear that someone knows them all the way across the Pacific! They have been joined by our new friend SNP (Spiny Norman Piglet), who we rescued from a feral life in the Australian countryside. From the attached photo, you will see that he hasn't taken long to get used to pet status. Kathy (Katherine Matic, Australia)
I thought that you might appreciate photos of some of your customers. Houdini is a mix dwarf (orange and white)and Whatsit is a mix dwarf of another kind (calico). Anna Boersig, CA
Here is last year's Christmas photo we sent to our family and friends. We have added 1 more bunny rescue to our family since the Hurricanes. Pictured from right to left are: Nibbles, Nibbles Jr., Flopsy, Snowy, Sam, and Boo Bunny. Becky and Don Rose, FL
This is a picture of Daisy, with her Chihuahua cousin (?)Fletcher. Wendy Nelson, OK
This picture was taken a few years ago, in Yuki's younger years. Because Yuki is now in her golden years, I think this Christmas will be a bit more mellow (even last year, she chewed on fake electric cords on the tree skirt). Ifsha Buttitta, CA
This is Peaches all ready for Halloween. Dawn Davis, PA
Finlay on Christmas morning, the first (and only!)time she was allowed to sniff the presents and the tree she'd been admiring from afar for weeks. We keep our tree off the ground by placing it on a table decorated with a tree skirt so bunnies--and people--can admire it safely from a distance. Wendie Carr and Steve Camelio, NY
Hi, these are my rabbits, your names would be Gunther & Aisha. Laura and Riccardo, Italy.
If you are having a large gathering at your home, make sure your rabbit is not overwhelmed by the amount of visitors. Even sociable bunnies can get stressed from such a situation. If you want to let people socialize a bit with your bunny, that is fine, but then allow your rabbit quiet time in his/her own room, away from all of the noise. Ifsha Buttitta, CA
